Does TTU deserve a playoff spot if they lose to BYU?

I would say no, but I don't know if the committee is going to punish a conference championship game loser.

Yes, big 12 isn’t that great but clearly the 3rd best league and TT has dominated it.

I would say yes. They already dominated BYU once. Behren Morton was also out injured for their lone loss to ASU.
BYU would have to blow them out, and possibly have Morton injured again for them to miss the playoff.

They're in no matter what. The conference championships are basically meaningless for everyone except 2 teams. Uga, bama, indiana, OSU, and Tech are all in no matter what. Duke is just trying to play spoiler. BYU and Virginia are playing for playoff births.

I think they should be. They have been a pretty consistent team throughout the year. Only hiccup during the regular season was that loss to Arizona St because their QB was out. They still have 3 wins against CFB playoff top 25 teams. Every win they have has been by 20+ points.

no the Big 12 should only get 1 spot and even that is charity. Texas Tech would go 6-6 in the Big Ten or SEC.

It's funny how y'all keep saying that kind of stuff when big bad Alabama is in the SEC title game and lost by two scores to a team tied for 13th in the ACC.

Anyone that says no does not know about them. They are easily a top 10 team in the country big 12 or not. Their lone loss came at the wire on the road with the backup QB. They have a dominate defense. They can beat any team in this playoff other than Ohio state.

Yes they deserve a spot. The have one loss and it was on the road with the backup QB by 4 points. If you’ve actually watched them, you know they have talent.
