Why Does LSU Want Lane Kiffin Anyway? | Film Breakdown
Max Browne does a nice job breaking down Kiffins offense. Kiffin loves to run the ball too.. I’m really happy to have a monster run game back potentially
Kewan Lacy was a 3 star according to the transfer portal. Lacy only had 104 rushing yards prior to Ole Miss. Lane seriously has an eye for talent

Gotta be able to run the ball to be successful in SEC, it’s a must

I’ve been wanting LSU to run the Briles Veer and Shoot for years. Excited we’ll get to see a variation of it with Lane and Weis

Thanks for posting. This goes a long in explaining OM’s offensive success. Using every bit of the field has been incredibly absent this past year for us.

I’ve always thought Lane’s rushing attack was badass. Fast, downhill, hit you in the mouth style.

He’s an offensive bully

His offense just makes the defense make so many decisions on the fly and there are so many options available to take advantage of the mistakes a defense makes. It’s going to be fun to watch and having a properly coached and executed offense again will be incredible.

Great post. This articulates the misdirection and creativity that’s been lacking going back to the Miles era, with the exception of Denbrocks offense.
That was the only guy LSU has had in recent times that knew how to create plays.
And we saw what happened when he left.

And it’s beyond me how Kelly EVER thought Sloan was in ANY way comparable. Staggers the imagination…

Kiffin knows what he is doing offensively from the personnel to the staff. We should never question the madness when it comes to his offense.

Remember when BK had one decent run against Florida at the end of the game to kill time, and when asked about it in the postgame presssr, screamed “THATS ALL YOU NEED! ALL YOU NEED IS ONE!” Yeaaaaa I knew he wouldn’t be here much longer
