This all sucks

What a ridiculous situation for these kids. I feel terrible for Chapman and Darby and to a lesser extent Anderson.
Chapman and Darby have been all in from day 1. Anderson wants to sign but won’t because of staff uncertainty.
It doesn’t have to be like this. The early signing day is stupid and this super condensed timeline fricks over a lot of people.

They can hold out and not sign until February if they want to see how things shake out.

That's why it should be one signing period. This allows changes to be made on staff and recruits can evaluate and make their decisions accordingly.

They can, but the reality is that the vast majority of recruiting classes are wrapped up in the early period.

I believe that's what some will do, but I hope Lane makes a decision on Frank & Corey soon! If they announce they're staying those players will sign tomorrow.
I have a weird feeling Frank won't be on staff. Hope i'm wrong.

There are thousands of kids in Louisiana who would love to play for LSU but aren’t good enough.

Man this is free agency now you have got to bring in the best players. Loving lsu is great but wouldn’t you rather players love lsu because of what they accomplished there rather than only because they were their favorite team growing up.

It's all a business now, these kids will bail on a program in a heartbeat, so, you might as well process them or let them go now before they are a year in and leave. Actually doing them and you a favor. Also, if they don't fit what you're wanting to do, they need to go anyway.

It baffles my mind that people on the board want a radical change like Kiffin but are shocked / outraged by decommits and their favorite position coach to be retained…

Is he willing to take an off field role? Would suck to see him go to A&M, Texas or Bama... but i trust Lane on this one.
