Dec 2, 1989. Has it been that long? The last movie I saw with my dad in a theater (I was in college.)
Goat Christmas movie.

My father and I would watch "Christmas Vacation" and "Die Hard" every Christmas season. It is remarkable how often we overlook the significance of small moments. This is one of the many experiences I wish I could share with him again.

Beverly D'Angelo was always so underrated to me. Gorgeous woman. She's 74 and I still wood.

Feels like Groundhog day. Over and over and over.

I hate to admit this, but I watched it for the first time last week. Funny as hell and not sure why it too me so long.

Just be glad that you did watch it but the only downside is having a frame of reference watching the movie as a kid. Depending on your age you will gravitate more towards certain characters. I completely empathize with Clark as he deals with his neighbors, in-laws, Cousin Eddie and children.

I remember seeing it at the theater in Baton Rouge and laughing my arse off. I still do even though I just about know the movie word for word.
