(These are just the 12 who are in, ignore the order)

1. Big 10 Champ (OSU/IN)
2. SEC champ (UGA/Bama)
3. Big 12 Champ (BYU/TT)
4. American Champ (Tulane/UNT)
5. UVA if UVA wins ACCCG (If UVA loses, this spot goes to JMU if JMU wins Sun Belt CG. If JMU and UVA both lose and UNLV wins MWCCG, this spot goes to UNLV).
6. Big 10 Runner up (OSU/IN)
7. SEC Runner up (Bama/UGA)
8. Oregon
9. Ole Miss
10. Texas A&M
11. Oklahoma
12. Texas Tech if they lose Big 12 Championship. If Texas Tech wins, then Notre Dame takes this spot.

Who wants to be a dummy and argue against this?

I think Ole Miss should be left out, since they don't have an offensive coaching staff.

It’s absurd that’s the situation they are in, but even more absurd the committee has already given us a precedent that makes them being left out a real possibility.

There's a slight chance ND goes in front of OU tomorrow, in which case you'd have to swap those names in your table. ND in the 11 box and OU inn+ the 12 box as an alternate if Tech wins.

Also, Bama is out with a loss and BYU win. So it's even more complicated than that.

Agree with everything you said, but I wouldn’t put it past those cocksuckers to put ND in over Texas Tech if Texas Tech loses their conference championship.

Do you have your dissertation ready for why Alabama needs to get in if they lose Saturday?

OU was ranked ahead of ND before Saturday and I don’t see any reason for that to change. They have same record, OU has slightly better strength of schedule rating, and IMO OU has had a more impressive season.

ND's resume isn't that impressive.

I assume you think Notre Dame would be in and Bama out? Bama has same record as Notre Dame and at least 2 wins that are clearly better than any of Notre Dame’s wins.

Bama’s two best wins:
@ UGA
vs Vandy

Notre Dame’s two best wins?
vs USC-w
vs Navy

Bama has a slightly better strength of schedule rating.

Bama has to play UGA in Atlanta this Saturday while Notre Dame gets to sit at home.

Bama > Notre Dame

right. Because they'll likely go into that game behind ND

Looking at it closer, I like Miami’s resume better than ND’s. If Bama loses, the debate should be between Miami and Bama. ND shouldn’t even be in the conversation.

But yeah, the committee had ND ahead of Bama and Miami in last week’s rankings.

Wait? You have 3 of the P4 conferences getting 2 teams in, and the ACC not getting a single team in? Lulz

You immediately kill the P4, and make it a P3

Miami gets in if UVA loses. They are #12 in the nation currently, and beat ND head-to-head. Plus ranked USF, FSU, and Pitt. Only losses are to combined 18-6 teams, with one of those a lose in OT. They also beat SEC Fla pretty handily

Look up - I said I think Miami > ND, and if it comes down to one spot left between those two and Bama, the conversation should be between Miami and Bama.

it's not impressive at all. They lost their two hardest games and beat USC. No way should they be in the playoffs.

It doesn’t matter what we think it’s a matter of what the committee has shown us

1. Number of losses is the most important thing

2. How you are trending and playing at the time matters more than an earlier head to head

3. Everything else has been shown to flip flop

I did look up. But you posted this in your OP

Nowhere in your 12 is Miami mentioned. But ND is.

Adding a qualifier to your OP after saying no one can argue against it, is just cya

As of now in your 12 teams, Miami is still not mentioned

Ok, you got me. You found the one hole which I already spotted and conceded.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Miami jump over bama tonight

Bama is 10th and Miami 12th going into tonight’s ranking

Miami crushed the #22 team while bama struggled with a 5-7 interim coached Auburn

If the committee does that it saves them the “penalizing a conference loser” talk
