We might need a full defensive staff IF Blake Baker becomes HC at Tulane

Peoples and Jake Olsen will probably follow him to Tulane. Jury is out on Kyle Williams (Insert Coach O if Kyle isnt retained). Does Corey Raymond stay or go? Will new DC be forced to keep him or be allowed to bring their own guy?

Corey isn’t going to Tulame
I get Olsen. Peoples…after being at Mizzou and LSU, that’s a big step down unless he’s named the DC.

Why is it a given that Peeples and Olsen leave? They probably make more at LSU than they would at Tulane.
Kyle Williams did a fantastic job given that this was literally his first year ever coaching beyong HS. He will only get better. He also came on late.

Seems like he can be staff poison, but I would definitely give the man a call. His defenses as OK State and OSU were fricking awesome after he got them up and running.

I’ve got some friends that play a ton of golf with Kyle and I’m hearing that he did not have much fun coaching and was planning on not coaching next year. With this new regime that may change I guess

Isn't the better question whether the DC would want to hire their own position coaches? Is that a thing? I imagine some DCs would want people they know they can work well with.

I mean, his boss for most of the season was an a-hole Yankee, he might change his mind. A bad boss can change your perspective on your job pretty radically.

Only coach that leaves with Baker would be Peoples, presumably to be his DC. I think the rest would stay, dependent on who the DC is

I can stay in Tigerland making bank and winning Natty’s or I could go to Tulane living in the 3rd most crime riddled metro area in the US, take a 50pct pay cut, and look for another job in 3yrs.
