With 1/4 of the season done, Reeves has taken a leap this year and is on pace to put up a monster year statistically

Here’s to hoping it translates in the playoffs this time.

That poster last year saying Reaves isn't a championship winning 3rd scoring option

He's not that good, the NBA assists the Lakers so he gets that tailwind
With that being said him not going to the Mavs in the Luka trade made no sense

Did the NBA stop the Lakers from trading Austin like the MLB did for Buehler in the Darvish trade?

Easily. If you're just looking at this year in a vacuum then he's a borderline top 5 player in the entire league.

He’s one of the worst defensive players in the league lol. Is this a joke thread???

Definitely not, even in a 1/4 of a season vacuum.

Lester, trying to understand the relevance of your chart to this thread…are Giannis. Jokic, and SGA in the running for most improved player this year?

He's not that good
If it wasn't for the pneumonia I got my senior year of High School, I would be in the same position as Austin Reaves right now.

Seems like him being on the graphic at all says more than the lack of green boxes and bold text under his picture.

no, just showing Reaves is going to be in the MVP discussion at this rate. Id say MIP is in line

Reaves has been great.
Deni Avidja has a case.
Josh Giddey as well.

AR15! I’ve loved him from day one. He loves playing with Luka too.

Yea if you do r think he’s good you’re an idiot.
Actually if you don’t think the worst player in the nba would absolutely destroy any average human being that is considered “good” (non nba player) then you are an idiot

The challenge for Reaves and Lakers in general is Doncic is a ball hog. Amazing how good of numbers Reaves has put up playing with Luka
Tonight is a good example. At halftime Suns are up 66-52. LA starters have taken 35 shots. Of those Luka has taken 17, or 48.6% of starter shots. He started off hot but cooled off. Reaves has 9 of those 35 so in one half Doncic/Reaves have 26 of 35 starter shots.
When he takes so many shots the other players never get in sync. Luka had 18 points before 1st qtr was over. So other players are not getting shots to get in a smooth flow. Then when Luka does pass they are off target.
And the Lakers don’t play defense.
