Good for everyone involved but if he stays next year and they play in well, he could likely get a much better gig.

He's a pretty perfect candidate for them. And if he keeps that roster pretty strong could be a good launch pad for him, as it has been for last two coaches.

I selfishly want him to bomb the interview though

I wonder if his current track works against him with tulane. Maybe a Napier would be there for a few more years as he rehabs his career

Dawson could also be a good option and has ties there

May just be wishful thinking but maybe they’re sick of guys just going through the job and would think Napier who has had success at that level may stick around a bit longer.
