The National media talking heads on TV and satellite radio have lost their freaking minds.

It is amazing to try to listen to some of these imbeciles on national programs. They absolutely do not understand how recruiting and NIL are much better for a coach in Louisiana at LSU than it is at Ole Miss in Mississippi. Hopefully he will have us turned around quickly with staff and playmakers we are accustomed to having.

NIL clearinghouse is going to have a major impact the recruiting landscape again (which helps LSU), and Kiffin knows it. The national media is behind the curve, as usual. I don’t even bother listening to most of the talking heads anymore.

It is funny to watch all of the indignation because Kiffen went to LSU and had to leave before the CFP due to the ridiculous CFB calendar. Don't hear the same about Summerall who is staying to coach his team. Different situation but he is still leaving none the less.

And what’s even funnier is that this same Ole Miss team that is supposed to be on our level in this new NIL world had to settle for their DC to become HC. Not interim HC while they conduct a nationwide search and try and poach a good to great coach from somewhere else, but permanent HC

Go back and see how the media reacted to both Saban leaving the Dolphins for Bama and Petrino leaving the Falcons for Arkansas. They went scorched earth on those two as well... surprisingly all was forgotten after both started winning. I have a feeling this will end up the same way.
Now, I expect Ole Miss tohold a forever grudge. But that's to be expected and is completely understandable.

I honestly haven’t gotten that vibe at all from the guys who cover college football. They have most all acknowledged that LSU is the better job and don’t fault him for taking it. The main gripe with them is the how it went down not why he took the job
