I didn’t like the pick, but mostly for what I’m seeing. Team is so talent deficient, no qb can succeed on this team.
He has shown some traits that he should get to start next year though.

Got downvoted into oblivion for being skeptical about him after the Carolina game.
Not rooting against the guy but ive seen enough football that even other bad QBs can occasionally sustain drives.

Yep. Scrambles due to shitshow O line, keeps looking downfield and completes passes (see that last td for reference). Something that

If you can’t see that the upside with Shough is VASTLY HIGHER than with Rattler……you don’t want to see it.

If you don't watch Shough play and see a clearly much higher upside player than Rattler then I truly don't know what to tell you

Rattler had a better offense to work with, and sucked more than Shough.
Shough has shown some promise. He's gonna make mistakes, that's a given with any rookie, especially with this team around him. Vets would struggle with this roster.
