Heard on the radio Kiffin was telling coaches if they don't leave with him now they won't have the opportunity later.

there is no "good terms" for something like this.

OM does have to protect itself too. Mainly poaching players and recruits (regular and portal/NIL).

Now telling the coordinators and coaches to leave now if they are going to leave is going to torch the rest of their season, in fact piss off some players and cause them to lose them, and generally affect their next coach.

That is going beyond "protecting themselves". There are ways to do that without going coaching scorched earth.

That’s pretty surprising. I was expecting it to end well. With Lane and his family being invited to Christmas dinner with the Ole Miss AD. Damn, I wonder how it went bad like that?
