It's a busy travel day with it being a holiday weekend, Kiffin needs to get to the airport at least 2 hours early. That meeting is not a priority.

Seems like some players made it clear the 9am meeting wouldn’t be sunshine and rainbows and they postponed until interims are named so they can turn the team meeting into a rallying call for team pride with staff that stayed etc.

He wanted to coach the team he built through their playoff run. Gutting the staff was his threat to try to make that happen. Blame the ole miss AD for being completely disconnected from reality.

This is such an ugly situation. I totally understand both Ole Miss and Lane's position on this. I honestly don't think either one is wrong. This is a situation where we can say screw the NCAA yet again. I mean seriously, how do you set the rules like you do and not see situations like this happening? It's one more reason to just dissolve the NCAA and move to power conferences controlling everything.
