DePaul is a Big East team. Are they amazing? No, but we're handling the gradual steps up in competition well.

Depaul is a solid Big East team too. This LSU squad has depth, shooters and length. Road game coming up this week at Boston College. Should be another good test.

- Depth
- Great shooting ( lead nation in FG%)
- 2 very good PGs
- DEFENSE!

This is a story as old as time. Win a few meaningless non conf games and the fan base starts dreaming of the tourney. I’d love it if it happens but given the past three years I remain hesitant to believe they will compete against SEC teams.

Last season we were winning OOC games by close scores and looking unimpressive doing it. PLUS, we lost to a couple of bad teams.
This season has been a big improvement so far.
The two trips this week could be interesting. Playing at Boston College and Texas Tech in Fort Worth.

No regular season games are meaningless.
What I would say is that this team has been better against poor competition than it has in the past few seasons. The conference is also a little worse than it has been the last couple of seasons.
Being skeptical is logical as long as it isn’t coming from a place of ignorance

Then you haven’t really watched the last 3,years have you. This team has a very good PG. they have size. They have multiple scorers and they can play defense. Something his last 3,teams didn’t have. Stilll want to see them against BC on the road and Texas Tech and SMU will give a better idea where they are but you don’t see the offensive struggles like you did last few years. And they play defense and rebound. So there’s nothing wrong with saying this team looks different. Amazing what you can do when you can finally financially compete for better players.
