Sumrall would rather Ole Miss than Florida. Ole Miss wants Sumrall if Kiffin leaves. So Sumrall is saying to Ole Miss, "no more delaying. Kiffin is staying or going so I can make my decision today"

So, it’s a bluff?
This sounds counterproductive. Ole Miss isn’t going to move on from Lane if they aren’t sure he’s leaving. Sumrall can’t make this move unless he knows he’s the candidate Ole Miss would want. Sumrall would be better off slowing things down if what he really wants is to be at Ole Miss.
