Gut feeling (no source) - Lane stays at OM

There are no expectations.
He wins the SEC a few times, makes playoffs regularly and wins a few games there, he'll be a god in Oxford. None of the pressure/insanity that surrounds LSU football, doesn't have to live in or near the shithole that is Baton Rouge, and can slay North Mississippi sorority girls on the regular.
That, plus "what could have been" if he bails this season, keeps him in Oxford.
He wins the SEC a few times, makes playoffs regularly and wins a few games there, he'll be a god in Oxford. None of the pressure/insanity that surrounds LSU football, doesn't have to live in or near the shithole that is Baton Rouge, and can slay North Mississippi sorority girls on the regular.

Lane wants the expectations, man. In fact, the low expectations probably played a big part in his decision. Have y’all not paid attention to Lane? He wants to win and he wants those around him to have that same want.
