Never understood the appeal of buying sandwiches from a sub shop. I can get a pound of decent lunch meat like Boars head for 12.99/lb and get a weeks worth of sandwiches for the same price of a meal at sandwich shope.

Why ever buy any prepared food?

I mean I get the convenience factor but it doesn't take much time to make something at home. Plus most of these fast food places take longer and longer to get you food that keeps getting lower in quality for a higher price.

You joke but the price of eating out is starting to delve back into the range of luxury. Pretty soon people never eating food prepared by others will be the norm again.

Time will tell if that's a good or bad thing.

Maybe some don’t want to eat sandwiches everyday for a week so they just buy one sandwich when they’re in the mood for a sandwich

Most fast food just straight up isn't worth it anymore. Wait 15 mins for some McDonald's slop tbat gives you diarrhea. frick that.

Yes, the amount of capital allocated to it clearly shows this.

totally agree. grabbing subs for a boat or beach day when i don't feel like making anything is about the only time i buy them.

Eta: I see lots of financially unsavvy fats downvoting.

How much of an allowance does mommy and daddy give you weekly for eating out?

I didn’t say they didn’t know how to squeeze every last dollar out of a brand they’re killing and then offload the real estate

Because I don’t want a week’s worth of sandwiches. I literally can’t remember the last time I had more than two deli meat style sandwiches in a week. And in most weeks that I eat one, I eat only the one.

I typically eat at home, but I’m not a fricking retard so I understand why someone would want to grab a sandwich

Asked a JM’s franchisee about this and they said PE has made no changes to the day to day operations and has made no mandates about how much meat.
