He knows that. I think the whole coaching in the playoff thing is overblown. They’re not winning a national championship… this year or any year

You mean the one everyone was picking LSU to compete for this year with a $20 million roster?

Competitors and highly successful people don’t think like this, IMO.

If they’re in the field of 12, anything can happen.

yes, even with Kiffin still coaching, this team is not a NC caliber team... great season, something to be proud of, but they are not on the same level as the top of the top teams, and everyone, including Kiffin, knows that...

I didn’t realize how many carries Lacy has had. He averages 21 carries and 3 catches a game. Next two backs have a combined 47 carries on the year. We haven’t had a RB hold up like that since since Helaire.

They won't ever have another chance with 9 game scheduling either.

Locked in with LSU and OU as permanents and every other year get either Georgia, Florida, Texas and Auburn or Alabama, Tennessee, and A&M.

Thats at minimum 4 games per year against teams with more resources and better facilities and 9 times out 10 will have more talent than you.

It will be very difficult to win there going forward

That is why Kiffin will not stay there.

Right... I would take them to beat Miami at home and I think they can beat TAMU on a neutral field.

Thought that during our game against them. They’re not a championship caliber team. A lot of close wins.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kiffin rides this emotional wave to an extension.

Then immediately regrets that fact that he’s locked himself in Oxford for the foreseeable future.

Yeah that one. People picking LSU has nothing to do with Ole Miss ability to win it all. That ability is 0% btw.
