Just a premonition...
I suspect that future LSU head ball coach Lane to the Kiffen will be quite uncharacteristically emotional after they beat the moo cows by 20+ and it will be sure fire confirmation that the Lane Train is departing the station in Oxford headed West to Bee R Uh.

Unless you're contractually obligated to not do so, it would be the right thing to do to let the world know today instead of waiting until tomorrow. The entire college football world including your players and staff will respect you more if you make today the day instead of bowing to the Administration at Ole Miss.

His son is playing football tonight in MS. If he announces he’s leaving today, Knox, Lane, and the rest of the family will face a very angry mob tonight. Because of that, if he’s leaving, he cannot announce until tomorrow. If he decides to stay, it will be announced today.
