Yall are geniuses. What gave it away? Most of us were blinded by Kelly's receipts comment and the 18 mill spent to build a championship caliber roster, and not to forget a Heisman frontrunner QB.

The schedule and luke warm confidence in CBK made some of us pick 7-5. Hey, stuff happens, we may still go 8-4 and the OP may have to switch kudos to that pool of voters.

The schedule gave it away. I truly thought we could go 7 - 5 before the season because I could see us losing;

@ Clemson
@ Ole Miss
@ Alabama
@ Oklahoma
and I thought Florida or Texas A @ M could beat us at home.

I didn't think it would happen - I picked us 8 - 4, but the schedule was not in our favor.

My guess was 8-4 and I centered it around the smoke over the offensive line. Early camp reports said the defense was mauling them.

Who we had on the road.

I predicted 8-4 at best but likely 7-5. I did have us losing to Clemson but beating aTm. Didn't know aTm was table runners this year and also didnt know Clem was gonna suck. What a difference a solid qb makes.

I wanted to believe…

I didn’t think Kelly would blatantly lie like he did.

But, I knew the fricker needed firing after uSC last year.

I made no pre-season prediction this year.

To be fair, Vegas picked 7-5 also. The signs were all there. We just got over confident after Clemson and everyone started drinking the Kool-aid.

And I said 11-1. I’m sticking with my Jim Harbaugh pick for the next coach though.

I only had us at 12-0.

To be fair, I changed my prediction to 7-5 after the Clemson game. That's when I realized our offense was not going to score enough points to get us the wins in the tougher games.

Nuss not being mobile and the Oline can’t run block plus a terrible offensive scheme overall

I was definitely blinded. I didn't see that as a possibility. I honestly thought 10-2 was the floor after listening to BK's BS all summer.

Had us at 8-4 I believe. Maybe 7-5.

Imagine after 3 full seasons of recruiting and getting your people in place that would we still falter. College football coaching is the biggest grift with no repercussions for poor performance.

I predicted 8-4 with losses to Clemson, Alabama, Texas A&M or Ole Miss, and one outlier. We beat Clemson, lost to Alabama, both A&M and Ole Miss, and the outlier Vanderbilt. We'll know early Saturday if this 8-4 prediction holds up.

We had a tough schedule and most people figured we’d start 0-1 because that’s how Kelly has started.

But I didn’t think the defense would be as improved and our qb play be as dog shite. So Kelly fooled me on that one.
