It was simple. With all the problems, if Nuss wasn’t going to run..the season was over before it began.

With the offenses from the last 2 years, probably 10-2 or 11-1

that was it for me also. It was pretty darn obvious after a couple of games, even wins, and seeing that Nuss was not the same due to torso injury. Add to that that our offensive playbook was the same as the previous year, same formations etc, it wasn't difficult to project that this team wasn't going to be much over .500 at best. I said it early on, and it all came true, sadly.

My guess was 8-4 and I centered it around the smoke over the offensive line. Early camp reports said the defense was mauling them.

This. And us having an elite d line all of a sudden should have been a bit of a red flag

I thought 8-4 was about right. We still have a small chance

I think I was 8-4. Not buying into the hype.

Think I went 9-3, maybe 8-4. Mainly because I honestly thought there was no way a BK team was capable of winning week 1. Especially on the road vs the "vaunted" Clemson. Thought we'd lose to bama and maybe OU. Thought we'd beat ole Miss, a&m, and certainly Vanderbilt. It's alright though. 2027 season NC is in New Orleans. I can hold out a couple years for the 4 year cycle that has magically fallen in place once more. It's going to be a fun ride watching Kiffen get his 1st natty with the Bayou Bengals. Only question at this point for me, is who's going to be the QB. Houston will only be a true freshman. I'm sure Lane will have one lined up in the portal pretty quickly.

I was 8-4 because of scheduling. Nuss obviously went from asset to ashtray. But I never thought playoffs

I actually bought into the preseason hype but after the Tech game and seeing Clemson fall apart, it was obvious to me that 8-4 was more likely where we would end up. I didn’t realize that Vandy was as good as they turned out to be.

I honestly predicted 8-4 because I heard how bad the offense looked in the spring and fall practice.

I just could not buy in the pre-season hype in the summer.

I thought we’d go 9-3. I was pretty sure we’d be out of the playoffs. I had no idea our offense would look retarded.

Right, losses on all four SEC road games, with toss up’s with A &M and Clemson. 8-4, 7-5, 6-6 so average probability equates to to 7-5.

Mine was very simple:
Replaced basically the entire O Line and you couldn’t run behind 4 NFL guys last year.
Football is blocking and tackling. If you can’t block you can’t win.
Every early report indicated that we couldn’t block so….
