By announcing Lane is our coach, and under contract. Lane will be coaching this team throughout the CFP's.

What will LSU do?

If LSU announces lane before the playoffs he'll be kicked out of Oxford immediately

Ole Miss isn’t going to allow Lane Kiffin to coach the team and recruit for LSU.

Verge was asked this hypothetical question on WWL. He said without hesitation that he would wait until the end of post season if necessary to hire his coach.

Lane can't take the LSU job while still under contract with OM? He has to breach his OM contract by resigning or say he,'s leaving. If he doesn't, OM must continue to allow him to coach the team.

If Kiffin is actively recruiting for LSU in a week and building his 2026 roster, then I don’t really care if he coaches a couple of games for OM.

But he has to be recruiting and working the portal next week for LSU.

OM isn’t going to let him coach the playoff, but I wouldn’t mind it if they did. He would get valuable experience.

It's only a week or two. This ole miss team is not nearly talented enough to make it pat the secind round. Season over before chritsmas, problem solved.

With BK coaching, that ole miss team is 2 and 9 going into the egg bowl.

The LSU athletic director said that LSU was willing to wait until after the NC if necessary to get the right coach.....
Take that for what its worth...

That’s how I feel too. Let him get his toes wet in the playoffs, but he should be announced as our HC and talking to recruits

I would expect this is addressed in his current contract. It very likely gives Ole Miss options if he is actively seeking another job.
