Why is Kiffin the best choice?

Serious question
Is Kiffin the best choice or just the lazy choice?
I mean, the easiest thing to do is to Throw a ton of money at the bright shiny thing because they don’t really know who else is out there that could be a better choice.
And what has Kiffin really done in his career to warrant such high dollars?

Because he's far from the worst choice.

Water under the bridge now. It's done.

The contract value is all relative to market value.
What did Saban or Miles do at the time they were hired to warrant their contract values? What about Elko at A&M or Freeman at Notre Dame?

To me has an offense that light up whatever team they play no matter of what his personelle looks like is a huge part...but biggest is he's point blank the best at working the portal which is what you need above all in this era of CFB

Because he’s brought Ole Miss to the top tier of the SEC. What other option out there has had success in the SEC to that level.
He’s 3-4 against top 10 teams at Ole Miss. Let that sink in.
And he wants this job. He wanted 4 years ago.

Tell us who is, ya lazy arse

Saban was a mill and wasn’t the highest paid coach when he was hired.
Miles was not the highest either.
Kiffin’s reported numbers are ground breaking.

The dollar amount is high based on supply/demand and current market value of coaches. It doesn't matter if its Lane or another successful SEC coach.
The lazy choice for LSU isn't Lane, it would be Wilson or Baker.
Why is he the best choice of the available coaches?
1) SEC experience and winning - 3rd most wins of any SEC coach since he got to Ole Miss (only behind Bama with Saban half the time and UGA with Kirby)
2) He is widely considered one of the best in-game coaches in CFB right now.
3) His offenses have been elite everywhere he's been regardless of personnel.
4) knows how to play in the portal and embraces it
Right now, Lane checks every box you would want better than every other candidate.

His salary would be similar to Kirby's so that's not ground breaking.
What is ground breaking is the NIL stuff, but that's bound to happen very, very soon anyway whether it's LSU or another school.

Knowing how to work the portal is great but I hope he isn’t going to just rely on the portal to build his rosters.

Not my job to know who the next Saban or is…

Compare Kirby’s resume to Kiffin. Not even close.
Kiffin is reportedly being offered more than Kirby.

Hoping you’re not serious but if you are, how does “far from worst” compare to the best choice?

however he goes about... getting together a roster that can run through an SEC schedule and make the playoffs with Ole misses resources is fricking impressive.
We spent more on NIL than they did and look at what we fielded

Hiring the next GOAT isn’t a reasonable expectation
We’ve seen lane coach elite offenses and has built a program in the best conference in CFB.
What more do you fricking want?

When Kirby was hired at UGA, his salary was #23, not #1. He didn't get the massive contracts until after having won the natties.
Of course, Kirby was a coordinator with no head coaching experience, but Lane's record against ranked teams leaves room for doubt.
He does not warrant a salary higher than Kirby and Day.

Kiffin is an established, young, offensive minded head coach that calls plays. LSU has been needing that for quite some time.
Could LSU have gone the route of coordinator or someone younger with more to prove to save some money, absolutely. However, the current regime doesn’t have the skins on the wall to test that route.

Ok, if this is right, then SO WHAT!
It's not going to be any of our money, and if that's what it takes to get him to LSU then so be it. LSU has the money, I don't care.

If someone has to explain it to you….
Than you obviously have questionable knowledge base and lack experience following these type of situations.
Can’t help ya guy !!!
