As you know, she said the city faces a $222 million deficit. Here are the numbers.

I saw somewhere the majority of the budgetary hole came from a street resurfacing project that the city was working on and FEMA is slow walking the money back to the city. but that is only about half of the money. The rest is probably coded for Teedy's Travels and Security.

It's a rot.

If they simply legalize gambling, they wouldn’t have budget issues

Gambling is already legal in the city and state, both take a significant cut of Caesars profits from the casino at the foot of Canal.

I hate going there because the machines are tight and food is terrible.

The food options are better under Caesar’s than they were.

No “gaming” is. Gambling is still illegal. Caesar’s has the only gaming license.

Y'all voted for Teedy - twice. Now you have Helena. This is what NOLA wanted so this is what NOLA gets.

Just raise taxes. Y'all can afford it.

The rest of the crappy state of LA without NO would slide off the scale of 50 states and slip beneath Puerto Rico, Haiti, and the DR.
You should get down on your knees and kiss NO’s arse for keeping the rest of the state afloat.

With that amended Department of Sanitation budget we'd better see some results in just the general cleanliness of the city.

Define core services of the city.

Slash the rest to basic functions. Set tone of 40% mandatory cut. Evaluate all city contracts and term tbose with convenience that are non-esssntial.

Government is not a jobs program. It's a service to the tax payer to perform essential services.

That is basically what she is doing. No matter what Moreno does 90% of this board will shite all over it.
