feels like you could make a better jump from UConn than to Colorado St.

Kind of surprising. He's 64 and done such a good job at UConn that im surprised hed want to go somewhere else and start over this late in his career for an opportunity thats the level of CSU. I assumed hed finish his career at UConn

He legit turned around UConn into a competitive program, that was as good a job done as I've seen

Maybe they can make the playoffs.

UCLA should have hired him back. Best coach they have had in 20 years.

Yeah I just assumed this jump for him to CSU was more about geography than anything. Seems like an odd move at his age.

We should have gotten him Defense Wins Championships

UConn is not in a conference and CSU is moving to the Pac 12 with tv deals to have all of their games televised. I think this is a good move from a recruiting standpoint and moving to a team that technically has a chance to make the playoffs. They have nice upgraded facilities and have made a commitment to improving the football program that UConn simply hasn’t so I think this will be a good move for both parties.

Colorado is a beautiful place, especially compared to Connecticut. At his age probably just looking for somewhere nice to retire in a few years

Yea uconn is a shite, dead end job. Colorado State should be one of the better group of 5 jobs

Yeah, that's a retirement set up, and good for him. They'll be the best team in Colorado next year.
