Ole Miss & Florida Making Final Push for Kiffin

Too long, didn't watch:
Kiffin is a strong lean to LSU. Ole Miss is resigned to the fact that he's gone. Florida believes it would take a miracle to get him.
I've watched a few of this guy's videos, and he seems to be pretty well informed on how these coaching changes work.
From his bio:
Anyway, from the video, he says:
Saturday is the day when everything starts moving
Ole Miss admin is pretty much convinced after meeting with Kiffin that he's gone.
They are trying to position themselves to move on and search for a new coach. Sumrall is their main target.
They hope Kiffin changes his mind last minute (like he did for Auburn)
Lane is coaching the Egg Bowl because all parties believe getting Ole Miss to the playoffs is the priority. Cutting ties with Kiffin before the Egg Bowl would likely make things worse.
Kiffin reacts on emotion, and Ole Miss is hoping a big win against Miss State would sway Kiffin back to them.
Where Kiffin winds up is a strong lean towards LSU.
Also a strong nod to LSU from Kiffin that he's coming.
Kiffin wants to coach through the playoffs. LSU wants him so bad, that they'd likely allow that.
Ole MIss probably wouldn't allow that to happen
Florida is hoping for a change of heart. Florida admins believe they would need a Hail Mary to pull it off. (sorry finchmeister)
Don't be surprised if things start leaking Friday morning.

Chris Landry is a Veteran Football Coach and Scout who has worked for the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. Previously he ran the annual NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and served as an assistant coach at LSU. Landry is now a consultant for multiple NFL teams and major college programs.

Aligns with the increased Dabo and Fisch smoke on UF’s end

I have no idea why, but this one I believe.

Considering how the calendar lines up, this feels like it'd be a mistake. If that's the case, it's probably best to just move on. If he were to coach them through the playoffs, it's also more likely he'd remain with them, IMO.

I know a lot of people that say this guy knows what he's talking about, I think this is accurate.

This honestly feels like the most accurate representation of the timeline.
No doubt it’s been in the back of my mind an emotional egg bowl win could change things, but it feels like a lot of major Ole Miss donors are over it.

Apparently he was all over Franklin to Virginia Tech before the national scene.

This is 100% highly likely. My concern is Kiffin gets the egg bowl win, and then tells LSU he is coaching through the playoffs or not coming (emotional response). What is LSU’s play then? I have very little confidence the powers that be have a solid plan B to move to quickly.

That’s as credentialed as it comes for TD

All makes sense EXCEPT....Lane is most assuredly gone, regardless of Egg Bowl outcome. OM admin does not want him around and do not "secretly" hope emotion swings him.

Think he was saying that Lane getting emotional about the egg bowl would be the only thing that swings him
If it was a home game he may have a point

Chris Landry was the guy that got banned from BR radio. He was a regular on Jordy Culotta’s morning show and he was bashing the Orgeron hire in 2016.

What is LSU’s “play”? LSU tells Kiffin to go frick himself and moves on.

They kept quiet this long, they will keep quiet until the game is done and the announcement is set. TBH, if he stays in Oxford, huge respect to staying put.
I became a father last year so taking my son to enjoy a quality product is my floor at the moment.
Still hope it’s Lane but Golesh is an awesome get if things don’t pan out.
Cheers, Gator Fam!

Verge was on radio and stated we’d be willing to wait until the playoff is over for our coach if needed. I’m afraid it’s up to Ole Piss to nut up or shut up when it comes to letting him coach in playoffs.
