Who is walking out on a team that is clearly playoff bound.....

Remember the Miles to Michigan think early morning of the SECCG when Kirk Herbstreet announced that Miles had accepted the job at Michigan....

Then Miles came out and said "Damn strong football team"

....That was a man of character....that is why he lasted in this job for 11 years. No other person other than Cholly Mac did that..Saban (5), Deitzel (6), Arnsparger (3), Kelly (3.5), EdEaux (5), DiNardo(5) to name a few.

A man of character would be with his playoff bound team rather than enjoying the spotlight on himself.

What would bother me is LSU hiring a terrible coach like Drink.

Winning Nattys buys forgiveness. Win 1 and leave, don’t care. We got more glory. But I think once he wins one, he’ll want another taste.

You may want to do a little reading on ol’ Lester Miles before you call him a ‘man of character’

Pathetic to blame anyone other than the guy making the decision. Yeah the rules/scheduling have a dumb setup, that doesn’t excuse walking away from your playoff bound team.

1) We don't know we're hiring him for sure. LSU is trying to hire the best coach available.

2) Just like LSU, Ole Miss will try to go hire the best coach available. Tulane could very well be playoff bound. Will it bother you if Ole Miss goes after their coach to replace Kiffin?

Not trying to be argumentative, but so many people are bringing emotion into this this. It's a multi-million dollar industry. It's an arms race and a bidding war all in one, and teams are just trying to get their guy.

As of yesterday, Kiffin was still holding firm on finishing out the season with the current team. Not sure Ole Miss or LSU is going to allow that, but he has been unwaivering on that.

Kiffin would happily coach his team through the playoff

Blame ole miss then
