Nah. I heard a bunch of shite on campus Saturday from some big donors but it’s mostly what the contract looks like, that the Saban smoke was real, Saban talking to Lane, etc.
I’m not going to poke and prod. He’s a very well known guy and the one who sent the verification text is as well.
I will say this, for those questioning why it hasn’t broken, it’s because the media knows if they break the story they will be cut off. That shite is real. You can get blackballed pretty quickly. That was the SOP of the Saints (I knew a ton of shite about them).
I’m sure LSU is the same way.

Lane has constantly said he wants to coach the egg bowl and focus on that. If players are still bought in and not distracted, why frick that up.

When you say it's a "done deal" what does that entail? Has anything been signed? Is it a verbal agreement?

I didn’t take it that way at all. Like I said, on campus it was just verification, finer tuning of what has been already reported in the media/here.
That 25m number doesn’t include the rev share, and it’s probably a little higher than that, shite like that.

I was told he’s coming Thursday evening. I didn’t ask anything else. Why would I?
Within 5 minutes, that was verified via text to my buddy by someone else that I am positive has a ton of depth.
Edit:
I wouldn’t be surprised that within a week or two there will be a recap where plenty of folks in the media share details that will verify this was done well before it’s reported as official and that date will be last Thursday.

I was at a function and not hanging out at a bar. It happened while we were just chit chatting. He shared it with me and then we started talking about the circus that is about to ensue. Then another text came through.

They're delusional. The Sumrall stuff last week didn't derail their Lane hype whatsoever and that was a huge red flag that they aren't in the drivers seat.

Why are you being so defensive? I'm not saying you are specifically trying to be vague. I'm saying that they information that you know if pretty vague.
You came on a message board sharing limited information and are confused as to why people are asking you follow up questions? Again, I'm not saying you are lying about the information you received, but so far the information just isn't super convincing due to lack of details.
