Why is BK claiming Tigers litigation hindering his job search?

1) what job search? Are we really supposed to believe he is looking for a job?
2) is he really claiming his litigation confusion calls into question his availability? Like BK is saying they aren’t sure if he is still the LSU HC?
3) all he has to do is sign a mou. He could start tomorrow with a signed mou.

This is a strategy of his attorney. BK isn’t doing anything.

Nobody wants an old coach that has mailed it in
He’s lazy & an a-hole that doesn’t relate to his players

I’d imagine he is saying that LSU refusing to fire him is affecting his ability to negotiate with other schools.

I assume there’s been no actual prejudice and they are just alleging contractual interference in part as a smoke screen to defend his refusal or inability to look for another job. Whether they believe it or not, it gives BK cover.

If BK is really even searching for a job (doubtful), his own job performance is the only thing hindering him.
People talk. And that talk usually creates reputations. BK is a slacker, and now, everyone knows it.

Because legally he is correct. The folks in charge botched his removal and it is going to end up costing LSU millions past what they might have owed otherwise.

This is all posturing by lawyers. It’s best to ignore it all until a settlement is reached

If he’s fired for cause — which LSU has alleged / the reason for BK’s declaratory judgment lawsuit — it will really hinder another employer from hiring him.
Has Mel Tucker worked since being terminated “for cause” from Michigan State…?
BK’s counsel is playing chess. LSU is playing checkers.

Because his resume at LSU is not good enough for big schools to be interested.

Because even Auburn won’t hire him.
Thats when you know you’re fooked.

Because LSU is retarded.

Because he doesn’t want to work but has to look like he wants to work

LSU just needs to agree to full buyout and sweep this under the rug. The longer this plays out in the media the worse this for LSU.

Burger King’s on field results might be hindering his job search more than LSU

I thought Boston College was interested?

So he has to prove schools otherwise want him, and LSU just has to prove suing your former employer is not something new employers find desirable.
