Does the way EVERYTHING Lane Kiffin said today leaned toward an exit seem odd?

Almost as if he wanted folks to see the trail markers? Or was he talking to himself.
My personal opinion is that LSU is very likely to be where he is coaching next year but that it is not yet a certainty in his mind, Layla will be a stronger advisor then Sexton and I thnk she liked Bator Rouge. Whether he is sold is still up in the air I believe.

Agreed. The only way we'd know for sure that he was coaching at LSU next year is if he said at the press conference that there was no way that he was leaving Ole Miss.

I was joking about that part.
But I just saw a guy that seemed like he thought he might have the answer but was not quite there and the comments were to reinforce to himself a decision he was not sure about.

I think he knows he’s gone and he’s trying to find a way to tap dance around these questions through the egg bowl. Earlier today the OM chancellor did everything to bring praise to the assistants. LK somewhat did that during his presser too multiple times. I truly believe he is gone, to us hopefully, and he agreed with the AD to coach through the Egg Bowl. If OM lost the Egg Bowl and Kiffin left, they’re likely left out the CFP so Kiffin wants to at least make sure that doesn’t happen before he leaves.

All while raising a ton of red flags to other teams looking to potentially hire him in the future. If he is just trolling, no team (NFL or NCAA) will ever interview him again.

More accurately, I think he wants to coach the Ole MIss players but coach for the LSU brand.

He is going to leave however I'm sure it is a really tough move from an emotional standpoint. He knows LSU is the better job with unlimited potential.....He also knows OM can't regularly replicate this season.
