Like it or not the Lane Train is coming to Baton Rouge

Speculation and rumors don’t make a sufficient case. Chicken’s thread along with verifiable facts makes it undeniably clear. Lane is all in on LSU and LSU is all in on Lane. I will even say that the money wanted Lane four years ago and Lane wanted LSU. Timing, and possibly Woody, resulted in Kelly. Now the money isn’t going to be swayed. I hope Lane proves to the what people think he is.

I think Ole Miss is much more in play than people are thinking on here but I’m still optimistic.

You have a point but Lane had just started at OM and the jury was still out on if he could handle the big time. Hindsight proves he would have been better than Kelly but my dog would have been too.

Look at it a different way - the last 4 years LSU was able to get their ducks in a row and transition to the modern college game. We are set up now to explode in a way we just weren't 4 years ago. The timing is perfect.
