I could be totally mistaken but I think we kinda sorta said we would protect them if they got rid of their nukes. It wasn't a full fledged 'we will go scorched earth' type of protection but still some assistance.

Again I could be mistaken.

I stated YEARS BEFORE, Ukraine was one of the best global deep state corruption honey holes. Think Hunter Biden and Burisma ( which was just a tiny point of light in a supernova worth of corruption )

This is why

Several reasons...

1. The MIC is going to eat...

2. This is a big piece of the congressional money laundering operations...

3. They have been unsuccessful in kicking things off somewhere else to replace Ukraine....

4. They want their secrets buried deep...

What a foreign policy. Why stop with Ukraine?

Attention to all nuclear armed powers,

The USA has announced it will kinda sorta protect you if you give up your nuclear arms. There will be peace on earth.

It is as simple as our nations 2nd Amendment. More guns less crime.

You are right. I forgot about the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons in 1994.

But as I now remember the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons in 1994 was an “assurance” not a “guarantee”. With that said the objective was to get the former USSR nukes out of Ukrainian hands and further away from Europe and consolidate them under Russia to prevent proliferation. It worked.

He is definitely eating something. Probably still getting kickbacks from the Military Industrial Complex.

Yes the reality was Ukraine didn't have the ability to control and maintain the weapons and the west was scared they would end up on the black market. But it works for revisionist propagandists to pretend otherwise.

No. It is time for the United States to back away and let these two fight it out.
