being labeled a democracy instead of a constitutional republic.

The issues all are 80/20. (D)emocrats are loons and can’t defend themselves.
Evet vote mattered, Republicans would smoke the Dems, barring election interference.

Socialism, gender affirming care, abortion, mass immigration, defund the police, etc are all losing policies.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for supper. No thanks.

Republics are types of democracies. They are representative democracies. What we need to do is start to call out the idea that communist always talk democracy while they liquidate people who are threat to the party. I'd start to call anyone who calls themselves socialist/progressive of any type a threat to democracy. Give them some of their own medicine.

if abortion were framed about abortion on demand, it would be much more unpopular

but the media frames it as about "women's bodies" and, perhaps their most brilliantly ambiguous replacement phrase, "freedom of choice"

One of their most brilliantly successful campaigns, in fact - and that prevents it from being an 80-20 issue

Actually we are a democratic republic. We are a democracy and a republic. The two are not mutually exclusive if you understand the true definition of a republic.

Freedom of choice, sneaky bastards… freedom from responsibility and reliance on the government is more like it.

The US constitution guarantees a republican form of government. Not a democracy.

You can have democracies within a republic, but you can't have a democracy and a republic.

I know the real quote, but that also sounds like something he would say.

Nope. Constitutional Republic. I will correct you every time.

Thank GOD our Founding Fathers were more intelligent than we are today.

Except we are a constitutional republic. What is even wrong with your brain? Why are you the way that you are?

The issue is then you slide down to the idiocy of voting by cell phone (which has already been floated). There is no way to secure that type of election. Look how much cheating is going on with mail-in ballots.
