It’s got quiet because….

It is done. Kiffin to LSU, the very few people in the world who know it’s done are staying quiet because they want to respect their clients wants.
The client (Kiffin) wants to finish the regular season with his players and staff.
- no I don’t have sources, but after seeing what the OM writers are saying who have all the Oxford ties. + what I’m hearing about LSUs alignment at every level on getting Kiffin and there being no other coach.
+ Floridas hired agency knows now what lengths LSU is willing to go for this hire and have already started looking at other coaches.
Be patient, it’s going to be a Kiffin Party.

Clearly, since you're not keeping up with how this actually going down. Kiffin and sexton wanted another week to drive up the price and take offers from all 3 finalists. Still likely he stays at Ole Miss or some other dark horse comes out of nowhere and steals him away like USC did with Lincoln Riley.

I did read the cliff notes of Sheas post. You are correct, this is an accurate feeling from the post but it is bringing clarity to me of why this whole thing went quiet lately. It makes the most sense.
Just because it’s sexton it doesn’t have to be drama filled. Sexton doesn’t wanna burn ties with universities especially the ones who are top 10 caliber, arguably top 5.

Riley was ALWAYS USC. He wants no part of the SEC. Thats why he left powerhouse OU in the first place

And here’s some food for thought. You think local guys report everything they know? You know what happens when guys do that?

Reporting that an agreement has been reached can cause a whole litany of problems for Kiffin and for the OM team as a whole.
They are competing for a playoff birth. He wants to finish the season with his team. Reporters want access to Lane when he’s the coach. Why in the blue frick would you cash that short money check instead of taking that long money gain?
This is my first real “inside scoop” for anything LSU. I was balls deep in the saints for a very long time. You can’t imagine what was left unreported for a plethora of reasons. shite I know is fact that never made print, but would have been huge stories.

I’m not an insider at all. It’s a done deal. I don’t know wtf else you want to hear. I tripped over this, like it fell in my lap due to me having a conversation with a friend who has way more connectivity than I do.
Look dude, I emailed an admin. I put my account up. I’ve met plenty of people off site who know me and know I am not chasing any clout. I don’t need to. It’s not that serious.
