FWIW. Told last week by a reliable booster that Plan B is Marcus Freeman. LK has always been Plan A. Same sauce relayed contract terms that later came out on Friday.

My conclusions not confirmed:

- LSU has only had contact with LK because it seems common knowledge that freeman has no desire to leave ND for LSU. If freeman is Plan B it is because they have not engaged in any talks.
- Therefore, Any talk with Drink, Dilly, any other names is not true. Not sure if there is a list beyond freeman or not.
- LSU remains focused on LK until a deal is done or he says no.

Freeman is not leaving ND. Brian Kelly and him are tight and the whole contract dispute makes LSU look not so good.

Sorry for not understanding, but you are saying plan B is a guy highly unlikely to leave?

Don’t buy that for a 2nd. Not having a backup plan for someone as unpredictable as kiffin would be idiotic

Freeman would be better than Drink but I doubt that very seriously. I do know he and Verge are friends though. Seems more like a possible ploy to get more money for his buddy Freeman from his agent forcing ND to pay more. Don't think he'd leave ND anyway.

LSU would shift to approach Marcus Freeman. I was surprised as well. Overly Ambitious IMO

What do you expect? Ausberry is just a puppet. If/when LK says no, LSU should be all in on Dillingham. But watch: it will be Wilson—“he WANTS the job and he LOVES Louisiana!”

I don’t see Freeman leaving, but I do think he’s doing a great job at Notre Dame

I mean, they put up 70 points last night. They seemed to be getting better and better and better.

Did not say anyone would like the information to be fair, but the sauce is reliable.

LSU is intentionally leaking stuff. I’m not sure of reasoning yet or final result, but IMO it’s intentional and misleading.

Plan B is Drink.

Plan C? Go on the cheap and take the interim tag off Frank.

This is LSU. We’ve all seen scenarios like this before, and know that leadership is too dumb to have learned any lessons.

I really hope I’m wrong, but I have this lurking suspicion I’m not.
