It's not a glitch. X now shows locations of all accounts and also shows if that account is using a VPN

Almost all my 60 or so followers were Nigerian. 
It's a glitch? Damn.. I was hoping it was on purpose- it is a very useful analytic.

See that's the kind of crap with social media that makes me not have it. We are way too dependent on it and it is too easily manipulated.

Very first one I randomly checked - Nigeria.

Not sure. I think RedState meant at first it was shown only to individuals. Then revealed public.

Welp, if you're the type who values 'likes and follows', then yeah, I agree. But like so much, it's what you use it for that differentiates user to users.

*ETA - Now, this isn't to say that it's near impossible to believe there's someone in Africa who is such a fanboy for Trump. He does have his followers & supporters world wide. But THIS? I am politically a fan of Javier Milei and what he's doing in Argentina, but I have no ties to the country whatsoever. I don't base my profile on praising him to any degree that folks may think I'm a member of his party of in any way connected to the country.
So yeah, @william is a bit sus in my book.
