According to the Ole Miss AD's post, Kiffin will announce his decision on Saturday, the day after the Egg Bowl. Has a press conference been scheduled? If so, when and where?

I’ll be honest - thanks for letting everyone know.

There wont be a general press conference if hes heading to LSU. It'll be announced and then he'll have a press conference with LSU.

I’m thinking Mississippi, but that’s just a hunch.

Sources say LSU is pursuing him

If OM and Fla have matched our offer and no more, they really aren’t stepping up for Kiffin. You would think they would add to this bidding process. LSU stepped up big for him and they only match. Saban says we are the best of the three spots, if so, we still should be good with Kiffin. If not then he was never serious about us but only needed us for leverage to get the match.

If he were staying they would presumably announce it immediately so it seems OM is definitely out. I'm pretty confident he would have great success at either LSU or FL but I've gotta say that it bugs me that so many LSU fans want to deny Kelly his agreed buyout based on moral failings but have no qualms at all with a guy willing to abandon his players on the eve of a playoff appearance. And fricked TN pretty thoroughly when he left them all those years ago. Mr. Kelly's loyalty issues are Mrs. Kelly's to deal with, or not, as she chooses. I find Kiffin's loyalty issues more troubling. Member when ESPN breaking Miles to Michigan the morning of the SECCG made Miles untouchable for Michigan? But again, I don't doubt that Kiffin will both win and entertain the hell out of the fanbase wherever he lands.

I think Ole Miss beats Mississippi State and in the celebration of that win, clinching Ole Miss’s first CFP berth, Kiffin says he’s staying.
I’ll be happy to be wrong, but I just can’t see a HC quitting on his team literally right after accomplishing a huge goal for the program he’s working towards for years

If OM and Fla have matched our offer

Kiffin may want continue to drag out this "decision". If Ole Miss wins the Egg Bowl, Texas beats A&M at home, and the Crimson Tide goes to Auburn for the Iron Bowl and loses late Saturday night, then Ole Miss historically makes their 1st SEC championship game appearance the following weekend. Does Kiffin leave his team high and dry the week before possibly competing for their 1st conference championship in over 50 years?

It's worth noting that the Big 6 has a clear and accepted criteria. No matter how much we might hate it the Big 6 does become the Big 7 the day a little un wins the SEC outright. It hasn't happened happened since integration although KY did share one in the '70s.
