1. He's not a serious person

2. terrible body language on the sideline

3. Has never won anything of note

4. His lack of loyalty stands out in a profession that lacks loyalty

5. He would be getting paid as if he were Nick Saban

I think the guy is wildly overrated and lacks the character to lead men at a championship level.

I do think it’s possible for LSU to hire a good coach outside of Kiffin. I don’t have faith in LSU’s administration to do that though. Lane is more of a sure thing.

Name one available coach that checks all or most of those boxes. I’ll wait.

yeah, he lacks loyalty like Saban lacked loyalty...and anyone else who has ever changed jobs.

This won't be a popular take. Trust me. Lester will be here to tell you how wrong you are. LOL

let's see who olgoi khorkhoi wanted as a coach in 2021:

quote:

LSU should poach Stoops from Kentucky

I think a guy like Aranda is bound to succeed for a couple reasons:

here are a couple less obvious names
Mike Stoops
Kirk Ferentz
Mike Gundy

Upside: you didn't want Billy Napier

Downside: You wanted 5 other losers to run this program.

Can't say that I should value what you think.

If I was LSU, and I don’t have a written agreement and commitment from LK , I’m starting to feel played by all this posting…

You think Nick Saban hires someone who isn’t serious about his job? lol

Neither would any other coach we would realistically hire.

Ole Miss has always been and will always be a stepping stone job. Nobody was crying like this whenever he left FAU for Ole Miss. He’s not leaving LSU for anything other than the NFL.

That’s just like your opinion man

Which shows how in over our heads this athletic dept is. We are literally chasing around Lane fricking Kiffin and Eli Drinkwitz trying to make one of them the highest paid coach in CFB. Am I taking crazy pills?
