It’s the job no one should turn down. You have everything you need to do great things. If a certain man wasn’t at Alabama how many championships does
LSU win if he never left and he wins more than what he did at bama if he doesn’t leave. Greatest environment in all of football. Kiffin has been offered the greatest job in all of football. LSU is the job. He would have the ability to do great things. Given the chance to do saban kind of things. Build a legacy. You won’t do that at ole miss brah.
Kiffin is coming. It’s the greatest job in all football. It’s the whole package. Kiffin has been through his trial and tribulations.

This guy gets it. If Joe Burrow never came here, we’re a middle of the pack job right now. 2019 elevated the program to elite status.

He hasn't won anything because he's been at tier 2 schools, he is coming to a tier 1 school with a talent rich pipeline and lots of money to pay for it. If he can't win a title here he never will, 2 retards won here

On average, team is good once every 5-6 years.

He was at USC which was a place that you could win championships. Not a tier 2 school.
He has gotten better since then for sure but he definitely had the opportunity on a big stage before.
He just appears to be the best option out there right now. I think we would be better off with a Dillingham or somebody who is on the rise like Saban was. It’s hard to figure out who the next Saban is, so AD’s want to take the coach that they won’t be criticized for if that coach doesn’t pan out.

How so? LSU has a grand total of 4 10-win seasons in the past 10 years. (Ole Miss has 5)
Not including 2019, LSU has been a middle of the pack SEC school for the past decade.

Yeah Kiffin tends to be his own worst enemy. My only concern with him. I’ll happily take him but I am skeptical.
People acting like Ole Miss were holding him back. lol no. They gave him a $20m roster last year and he still managed to lose 3 games. They’ve given him practically everything he’s asked for. Also not a fan of the basketball and fire extinguisher antics on his sidelines.

I’m sure OM would rather have one less 10 win season accompanied with a natty and sec title than 5 10 win seasons with zero hardware to show for it.
nattys are all that matters. Nobody cares or even remembers how many 10 win seasons you have . And in the last 25 years the only school to have more success than lsu is bama.

Yet the meltdown from OM and other SEC fans on the SECR is that Kiffin is ‘bailing’ on the OM team he coached to the playoffs.
So which is it? Never won anything or coached a perennial cellar dweller to a playoff berth? Both cannot be true.

This place is drunk off Kiffin. If LSU is so elite, we can find a young up and coming coach with fire that can mesh with the culture here. Don’t get me wrong about Kiffin. He’s good, but he’s not the end all be all. We will be fine. The desperation on here for him is embarrassing.

Kiffen was at USC right after their glory years and he fricked it up so bad they left him at the airport after a bad loss.
