Out of curiosity, do we fire the AD if Kiffin is a bad hire after 4 years?

Because I distinctly remember our last coaching change, when BK was the hottest name in the coaching world (just like Kiffin) and Woodward got him locked down. And now they are both gone.
Not saying I disagree with the decisions at all, people just forget it’s the ADs job to land the best possible candidate.

Most ADs only get one football coach hire. Football is the lifeblood of most athletic departments. If you fail to get the best person to bring in money, then you lose your job.

I disagree, BK was not the hottest name. IMO it was Riley, and the only reason we hired BK was because Riley went to USC.
If Kiffin does come, and if he is bad, then most of the Trant that wants him will surely say fire Ausberry.

Idk if you don't actually follow football or just blatantly lying to try and push some shitty narrative.
But anyone that actually follows the sport knows Kelly was absolutely not a hot name at the time. Nobody even thought he was on the table to begin with. The hire came completely out of left field.
Couldn't be a more 180 from this situation.

Well he is a bad hire, esp at the talked about numbers. 14 million to someone who coached that awful team we played. Anyone actually think ole miss has a shot at winning a natty? Not even a top 5 team. Ole miss supplied players, howd he do? We supplied BK this season, howd he do? Both brought a piss poor coached team head to head.
Ive said it a million times. The world is full of dumb people in smart positions. If LK is our coach, we wont win a natty for awhile unless we open the donors pocket books to an extreme (which we did w BK, and OM and both failed) paid players.

I think part of the reason Woodward is gone is because Kiffin was always our #1 target and there was zero chance he was coming here if Woodward was still the AD after he didnt even give Kiffin an interview 4 years ago

Football hire is tied to the AD. That's just the way it is. It's ridiculous that coaching football is so hard that schools have to pay someone 100 mill to do it.
