This will be worse than Tom Herman back in 2016. Lane is masterful at being a troll.

Even if he does, that’s fine. It won’t hurt us one bit if we are doing our due diligence.. no one is leaving their job tomorrow.

It was honestly fun up until that Ole Miss AD statement today. Now it’s becoming annoying.

As we've learned from the Herman situation, even if it's done, it's not truly "done". LSU would still have to wait a week regardless of who they pick. NO ONE is leaving their team before the end of the regular season.

Just hope LSU is doing their due diligence although I'm not sure what agreement they might have in place if it is Kiffin.

I hope he does. He will be a bad hire.

Brother, I don't really think it will be a rug pool. The Tom Herman situation and Ed ogeron was a little bit different. 90% of the LSU fans are very familiar with Lane kiffin and know that he loves to troll. So I don't think there's going to be gnashing of teeth and wailing if he decides to stay at Ole. Miss that's cool. There are other great coaches out there and again what has Lane won even if he did come? What has he won? He hadn't done anything yet. We got two Nashville championships with two buffoon as coaches. Now the one national championship was with the goat but we had two buffoons to get national champions and Ole Miss still hadn't won anything and I can guarantee you. Anybody want to bet me they not going to win the national championship this year so I think you're wrong. It's not like the rug is going to be pulled out of tiger fans, not at all. It is totally different than the Tom Herman situation and when we knew that Ed ogeron had stabbed less miles in the back to maneuver in there with Derek pinanski. So no different situation my brother

this announcement today has actually brought peace to me.

it really looks like LSU and if it isn't i still respect they did all they could to get their guy. they'll still have time to get another coach. most coaches probably want to focus on coaching their teams this week anyways. you can still do your talking with agents for backup plans.

and i say this as someone who wants Lane probably more than anyone. if he rug pulls next weekend i would not be upset. again, just glad LSU was willing to do all they could. i don't think he will, but things could always change.

Can't rug pull someone who's not doing the hiring.

We need to let Frank Wilson finish the season before ANY decisions are made.

Oklahoma is a winnable game. But not if we kill CFW beforehand.

Hard to imagine the posters here don’t get that. LK is going to do what’s best for LK. Staying with his team through the playoffs is most likely what he wants to do,……with a big fat raise.

I think OM fires him, so he should still be available if that remains an option.

It doesn’t put LSU in any worse of a situation than they’re already in. We have no coach and won’t have a coach for at least 8 more days, regardless of what Lane decides.

That has nothing to do with anything.
