This is insanity. Make a freaking decision. Leaving it open for a bidding war for another week is just asinine. You can bet Sexton is behind this. They're not done taking offers from the three schools.

Eh, most coaches don’t announce they are leaving until the regular season ends. I would definitely be using this week to have solid backup options though.

We’re LSU. It’s rare we get our first choice. Even if we get Kiffin, I’m not sure he was the first choice. I think Saban was this time. I don’t think Saban was the first choice when they hired him years ago.

This is obviously a done deal based on the timing of the announcement. If he’s coming, then all is quiet on LSU’s end until Saturday. If he’s not coming, LSU will be interviewing other candidates.
