Anyone remember Gay Nate?

I have this vague memory of having my haircut by a guy everyone called gay Nate. Baton Rouge circa 2000 right near campus. But my friends don’t remember him and my memory is hazy.
Am I imagining this? Is this a false memory? Did something happen to my butthole?

Nate was very much real. He worked on Chimes St near the Library bar. I had an ambiguously hetero friend that was friends with Nate.

He was a legend... he was my go to from sophomore year till graduation. Sassy as frick and would always talk shite about the person who left just before you.... I was walking down Chimes for the florida game and his shop is still there but I wonder if he is.
