I wouldn’t call Baker or Lane a genius. Lane is one of the best ever and current best play caller in the game. But he does have a habit of outsmarting himself at times. Baker is a good young rising DC and I hope he stays but he is not a genius

Baker's stuff may appear genius on paper and highlight reels but something is not aking it onto the football field on a consistent basis

Baker is to aggressive with mobile QB’s. It’s tiresome watching his guys move to far upfield and put themselves out of the play.

Serious question…. Has Bakers previous DC stops had true dual threats to go up against on the regular at practices?
I feel Lane and Baker will sharpen each others skills on the daily and will end up being a lethal combo for other teams

I don’t think he’s keeping Baker. It’s either Pete coming or he’s gonna shop for a top talent DC

Baker may end up at his alma mater Tulane if the dominos fall with Sumrall.

Lane is an offensive genius. Has been for a long time. Baker let Faggy drag their nuts across his face to the tune of 49 points in tiger stadium. Far from genius.

So you didn’t actually watch the game. The special teams collapse is what caused the game to flip.
Huge KO return to start the half. A punt return for a TD. 2 other big punt returns.
You can have questions about Blake against very mobile QBs, but you have to be honest about what actually happened. You’re also conveniently forgetting that that was without Whit.
