If you're going to the WKU game please do not boo Nuss during the senior night festivities. He has been loyal to LSU for 5 years and most of the bad things that happened this season were not his fault. He didn't want to be hurt, and it is not his fault Brad Davis couldn't teach the O line how to block.

If he had burned that redshirt, he would’ve probably gotten drafted higher in 25 than he will (possibly) in 26. At least be setup better once that NIL runs out.

Anyone that would actually boo one of the players on senior day needs to reevaluate their lives. That's beyond pathetic.

LSU applied for a waiver to the redshirt rule. The interim coach said at the time that if they did not get a waiver Nuss would not play. This wasn't solely a Nuss decision. LSU did not want his redshirt burned.
Kind of pathetic that 5 years later that is being used to defend booing him on senior night.

No longer a student athlete. He’s a paid professional (he made a lot of money this year). I still would not boo during senior presentations. That is pretty low down thing to do!!!!

I do what I want. LSU fans boo'd a live tiger on the field last year. That being said, I don't think Nuss's terrible season is all his to blame. I'd cheer for him just for sticking around for 6 years when every player in the rest of the nation would have left years ago for money. He gave it his best effort, but it just didn't work out for the best. There's a reason why some players leave for the pros early, and this situation is one of them.

The good news is that the stadium on Saturday night will largely be filled up with real fans as opposed to the ones who only started watching after we won a natty. That gives me hope.
