Arguably, one of LSU’s issues in the past (Jasmine Carson single game heroics notwithstanding) has been the consistent ability to knock down the three. Although it’s hard to draw any conclusions on rebounding, overall offense/defense, etc due to the relative lack of difficulty in the early schedule, I think we can at least tell that this team can shoot.
They are currently 2nd in the nation at 47.1% from 3 on over 18 attempts per game.
No doubt their ppg with come down as the competition improves, but if they keep hitting from deep they should be tough.

Flau’jae and Mikayla have been on fire shooting 3s. Think both are around 60-65% so far. Fulwiley has shown she can hit them too when she’s on.

Don’t forget Bella Hines and Richard. I think Hines is hitting over 50% from 3.

Bella can drain them also. The only player I still don't trust is Gilbert. She is so inconsistent.

I've come to the point where I'm suprised when they don't go in. Lay too. Bella has been a straight up assassin, hope she keeps it up.

Sounds like one of the girls can make layups consistently. I forget her name maybe the transfer from SC.

Fulwiley can jump so high, she is gonna make her layups. The rest of the team jumps like female athletes and are gonna miss some close in shots when guarded.

Great point OP. Honestly think LSUs downfall of the last few years has been lack of shooters. Not this year. And Kim's teams will always be able to rebound the ball and play defense.

Ley has been hitting those Caitlin Clark long threes and very accurate.

this team has got some serious chops. it’s so badass when kim subs all five starters with Ley and the merry band of stud freshmen.
Grace Knox will make you forget about Smith and Del Rosario.

Her first half vs Iowa is and will always be legendary.
When she bagged that 3 at the buzzer to end the first half, TV announcer said "It's wizardry!!" and that was so apt.
