I think this guy is a globalist plant and his job/goal is to cause maximum contention with the federal government.

I think you’re right. Don’t be surprised to see more of these popping up in other major cities. They have the blueprint now on how to win…

Populism has been a blueprint for these types for like 100 years my dude.

NYC already had a prior socialist mayor in the Trump era

That’s rich coming from the future mayor of a sanctuary city that doesn’t enforce federal immigration laws.

I really hate how he vomits in threads, but I'm really looking forward to SFPs take on how NYC is to abide by international law.

Heck I'll take 4slowcommies take, and the other board lefties.

So yes I'm jinxing this thread by calling them out...*looks in mirror*....SFP, SFP, SFP

Ahhh you made it in. So what are your thoughts on a mayor abiding by international law? Support it, by seeing nothing wrong with it? And no, it's not going to stop with just a farce of an international warrant.

Which of the various international law groups are acceptable vs not acceptable to you?

You're melting over political puffery. This is just him doing the "I would arrest Bibi for his outstanding international warrants" routine.

So, in the context of what he's discussing, to specifically answer your question, he'd do that.

But Bibi isn't going to take that risk because, although NYC would be preempted by the feds (who would not seek such an arrest), there is always the possibility that NYC could theoretically extradite Bibi to a country who would prosecute him (among which are many options). So this is all just standard political puffery and nothing to react to other than chuckling at the kid promising free coke machine for middle school student elections.

Let’s put the shoe in the other foot, if a Republican mayor in a southern state said this under a Democrat President, the talking heads in the media would be screaming insurrection and how unAmerican this would be.

So you won't man up and commit to answering anything. Just saying it's "puffery".

Saying international law supersedes American law, is not a game of "puffery". Man up and tell us your thoughts on if he isn't just being "puffy". He clearly isn't just talking about arresting Bibi, but using that to hide a bigger intent.

If it was an actual American saying this, sure we can maybe toss it up to some "puffery". But it isn't. It's a foreigner that doesn't care for or respect this nation, so no, benefit of the doubt is not given.

Well, when you follow a religion that preaches conversion by the sword, you tend to be impatient

Declaring yourself not under the jurisdiction or sovereign to one lawgiver and putting yourself under another is called rebellion.

let the drone strikes begin. Mine the harbor and cut the bridges.

Let them starve.

I gave you a very detailed answer

quote:

Just saying it's "puffery".

Ultimately, that's all that it is.

Bibi isn't going to NYC anytime soon.

Saying international law supersedes American law

Now you're just creating a straw man.

quote:

Man up and tell us your thoughts on if he isn't just being "puffy"

I'm not going to opine about your strawman.
