I imagine Karonline Leavitt reposting AMAC is about as objective as MSNBC

What a WINNER he is. Americans love winning and winners. Anti-americans do not know how to win.

It’s hard to grift and steal taxpayer dollars when we loan money at interest as opposed to simply giving it away.
This is what they’re really upset about.

No the messaging was bad due a bit to dishonesty (the MSNBC side), which is why you see similar dishonesty from that AMAC article spinning it positively.
The article cited is mostly marketing fluff and rhetorical slight of hand, which Leavitt is using to spike the football about 3 minutes into the first quarter of the game. The long-term EV calculation of the move will take years to analyze, as even the article states (once, in a throwaway line).

Unlike a handout, this swap operates like a secured loan: the U.S. gets its dollars back with profit (assuming the Argentine economy recovers),
That's a rather large assumption.
And unlikely a typical loan with interest, if we're wrong, we are REALLY wrong. We get to keep worthless Argentinian pesos as our collateral.

That's so retarded I don't know if I can lower myself low enough to respond

Massive assumption given Argentina’s history of printing their way out of fiscal liabilities even under Milei, who I believe has good intentions.

You have to applaud our government. We’re really getting creative with our bribes.

Hard to go lower while already residing at the bottom sir.

Then why did you respond with the very next post?

Agreed on all sides.
Milei is trying big things but they're also destabilizing and led to the need for this currency swap/bailout. We basically took a huge risk to buy the election for him to see if he can get better results the 2nd time.
Spiking the football on that right now is idiotic.

I responded on a conceptual level.
I don't think a substantive response is possible without brain damage

I thought it was too risky to undertake but so far the peso has held up.
Not sure the amount of pesos bought so far but reporting was $1.5 billion had been swapped at around 0.00070 pesos per dollar. The current rate is up 0,00001 so US taxpayers have made around $15,000 on the deal so far. Not much but not a loss at the moment.

1. A response is still a response counselor.
2. Based on your posting history you already have brain damage.

You see things like scheming, twisting truth or facts to fit a narrative. Of course you can respond but it’s really “the lowering “ yourself that perplexes us. We thought you were a lawyer and already that low of a individual

SFP’s grasp of a currency swap is what he’s googled in the past 24 minutes

I literally gave an in-depth response that did the opposite of this, to thwart this.
So yeah if your goal was to be literally absolutely incorrect, you succeeded

The irony of this melt after someone says something so untruthful I say it's impossible to respond to for this reason
