One of the few movies that did justice to the book that spawned it.

I'd love for Cinemark to bring that back to the big screen. Went and saw Back to the Future last week because I had never seen it on the big screen, would love to do that to Jurassic park. It definitely holds up well.

Man, the book was DAAAARRRRRK. Especially the chapter that had Nedry's death. I really enjoyed the film and the book.

Jurrasic Park and Lord of the Rings made me go back and read the books.

I love JP - but the book was so much better, to me anyway

Maybe it's just me, but if you've seen one Jurassic Park movie, you've pretty much seen them all.

Dinosaurs are cloned, crap happens and they get loose, panic and chaos ensue, some people die/some live-----------THE END.

I watched JP in theaters for the 30th anniversary a few years ago. I can’t remember if it was IMAX or a regular screen. Regardless, it was worth every penny. The 35th anniversary should be right around the corner.

It really does. I never knew John Hammond was David Attenborough's brother, but on a rewatch you can see it and hear it in his voice

The LPO will perform the music while the movie is playing and it is phenomenal. If you ever have the chance to do it I highly recommend it. I have seen Jurassic Park and Home Alone and they are both fantastic. Very impressive how perfectly timed the music is and how they do not miss a single note.

When a franchise makes movie after movie and barely changes the premise of the movie, then yes, it's a bad thing in my opinion.

Look at the "Jaws" franchise. By the time it was over most of the movies that followed the original were laughable.

A movie event that made me feel as I did as a child seeing a BIG movie in the theater.

I enjoyed both. If you made the movie exactly like the book it would have been a 4 hour movie
