Just throwing my 2 cents in....

I am visually impaired and have a bachelor's degree. Have a job. I paid off my student loans from college.

I watch the back and forth debate about SNAP and student loans. To me it boils down to: Why should people have to pay for you having 3 or 4 kids and not being able to feed them? Pay for you getting a degree that did not work out for you?

And then they act like you are being an inconsiderate d*** just for asking the questions.

You will get downvoted by the hordes of leftists that infest this board but you are right. It is not our responsibility to feed other people or pay for their college.

I'm visually impaired, not blind. You can have vision issues and not be blind, genius.

All of it falls under the giant umbrella of removing responsibility and accountability from our society.

There's a reason the government steals the money out of wage earners check, directly.
Because no one would voluntarily give money to a government that distributes it to those who dont bother helping.

Upvote.

We need many more in this country like you. We have lost the understanding of hard work.

SNAP. EBT. Section 8. And they've all become generational.

When you have 31-year-old grandmothers who have never worked a day in their lives, and they have a 63-year-old grandmother that never worked a day either, that's a problem. And it's happening all over America. Five to six and even seven generations of people all still alive and living either together or in close proximity, and none have ever worked or even tried, and they've literally lived off of taxpayer funding their entire lives and have no intention of changing that because the system is set up to punish them with LESS benefits if they get a job.

I don't know why there are still Americans who can look at this and, with a straight face, deny that it's a colossal problem. This is a segment of the population that is 100% reliant upon the government for their day-to-day existence. And what a sad existence it truly is, when they literally cannot feel any modicum of motivation or desire to do better. Their life consists of being broke but well fed in a subsidized ghetto apartment with a free Obama phone and EBT.

Government pissed on its legs when it got away from letting the people, churches, and charities care for those in need. But then again, the government needed the division and dependents created by the "wet" legs.

I think other guys are gonna say: Can we clone Sydney Sweeney instead?
And as a guy, I'm like: Yeah do that instead of making more of me.

We are subsidizing democratic voter farming. If they worked and had disposable income there would not be as many of them, and they wouldnt vote left at the same rate

After an investigation, the secretary said that 5,000 dead people were getting SNAP, while another 500,000 people were getting SNAP twice under the same name.

The number of illegals getting it likely similarly insane.
