He took over a team under difficult circumstances and then coached the team to a win. Props to him.

Maybe we can hire Frank Wilson and Ed Orgeron to be co-head coaches since LSU fans think those two love LSU so much and since that’s our fanbase’s only criterion for head coach.

ESPN commentators repeatedly said that Frank had played at “Perry High School in New Orleans”.
I’m sure this annoyed more than a few of his fellow Purple Knights alumni.
(He did coach for a while at O. Perry Walker, I believe.)
